Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday in the course of the break between the plenary meetings has hold the Conciliative Councils of the faction leaders and chairmen of the profile committees in the course of which the issues on the further work of the Parliament were scrutinized.
In particular the People´s Deputies meet the agreement regarding the fact that on Thursday, 1 April, the Parliament will scrutinize the bill (Reg. No4177) on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (re the terms of the Verkhovna Rada of Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Local and Village Councils Authority) which envisages the amendments to the part one of the clause 136 and part one and two of the clause 141 of the Constitution of Ukraine regarding the implementation of five-years-term of the Verkhovna Rada of Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Local and Village Councils Authority, elected in the result of the next elections. The suggested amendments will facilitate the legislative support of the necessary conditions for the efficient work of the local self-government bodies.
During the Conciliative Council the parliamentarians also decided to direct for the acquaintance by the People´s Deputies the Election Code draft, presentation of which will be held on 28 April for the current year. On Thursday, 1 April it is planed to pass the resolution on conduction in May of the current year of the parliamentary hearings regarding the issue. Then the Election Code would be introduced for the Parliamentary scrutiny and probably it would be sent for the repeated first reading. This work is to be done until the end of the present session.
Moreover, the participants of the Conciliative Council scrutinized the issue on the procedure of the State Budget of Ukraine 2010 scrutiny that would be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine after 10 April. According to the schedule, the elaboration of the Budget would be organized in such a way, that the final decision regarding the matter is adopted 29-30 April.
The third issue to discuss concerned the entering of the Committees by the People´s Deputies that received their authorities. The parliamentarians meet the agreement to discuss this issue in the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
